One of my sweet students brought me flowers and chocolate candy. I saw him with the flowers in the morning, but he kept them on his desk and didn't say anything for a while. Finally, we were leaving the room to take our old reading materials to the stage, and I whisper asked him, "Who are those flowers for?" And he whispered back, "you!" Haha! I have no idea why I started this whisper stuff, but it's actually pretty funny, it's like we have a secret. When we came back from the room, he gave me the flowers and chocolate candy. On the last day of school, I received the absolute sweetest letter from his Dad that I plan on framing and putting up in my classroom next year. I want one just like this kid!
