It's an early release day so I have some spare time to play around! I changed the layout. I think things need to be changed up every now and then. Kind of how Will feels about his hair (both on his head and on his face). True fact.
A couple of weekends ago, Will picked up a Current (http://www.sacurrent.com/) and I found an ad for kites. Will and I had been talking about getting kites, but hadn't found a place with nice ones. We went to Whole Earth Provision Company (http://wholeearthprovision.com/sanantonio.html) in the Alamo Quarry Market (http://www.quarrymarket.com/) two weekends ago and found some really nice kites! The Whole Earth Provision Company is a pretty nice outdoorsy store filled with outdoor chimes, educational toys for children, tents, Crocs, and expensive clothing. The Quarry has a wide selection of stores and restaurants, including The Gap stores, Chiplote, Bath & Body Works, a two-story Borders, and Amy's Ice Creams (http://www.amysicecreams.com/). I treated us to ice cream at Amy's Ice Creams and it was so delicious!
Last weekend we had dinner at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q (http://www.billmillerbbq.com/) and it is one of the best barbecue places! We noticed there was some wind and decided to go home and try out our new kites. We put them together and walked to the big field in our neighborhood. Of course by the time we walked over there and got ready the wind had died down. I still managed to get some pretty good pictures. My kite is the butterfly and Will's is the pterodactyl. We will have to try again!
On a side note, I have officially finished my 8th week at school (not counting spring break)! My last day is April 23rd and it will be here before we know it. We will see what happens afterwards. I'm pretty excited about the possibilities.
And my birthday is a week from Sunday already!
Below is a slideshow of our kites! Enjoy!

I love Amy's ice cream. There's one by my old office.
