Book Review: Dark Places

Last night I finished Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. The story is about Libby Day, the survivor of the “The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas.” Libby was seven when the murders happened and she testified that her fifteen-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer.

Twenty-five years later, Libby is introduced to The Kill Club, a secret society whose members try to solve unsolved crimes. Libby has to face what really happened on that fateful night, and whether what she thinks happened really happened.

This book is such a great mystery! I could have never predicted the outcome, and the story had me second and third guessing myself. I was first introduced to Gillian Flynn from her debut novel, Sharp Objects. Gillian Flynn has a way of writing about the dark side of people and is a wonderful writer. Dark Places is also a New York Times Bestseller.I highly recommend this book! To find out more about the author, here is a link to her website: http://gillian-flynn.com/
