Meet Los Dunns

Mother's Day at the Pearl

Will & Linda

Will and I met in college. We pledged the same co-ed service fraternity in the spring of 2005. After a summer party and a fall service project, we became inseparable. Fast forward to May 2007. Will proposed at Putt Putt, on our 18th anniversary. I said yes at the 18th hole. After a short engagement (7 months), we said "I do" in December in the most beautiful church, complete with Christmas poinsettias. Will works with computers and I am a former teacher. These days I stay at home raising three babies -- two of the feline kind and one human.

The babies:

6 months old

Atticus Murphy

Our rainbow baby Atti joined our family on November 19, 2011. He surprised us all by arriving eleven days early! Atti is truly the sweetest, funniest, most handsome baby I know! He has quite the personality, full of facial expressions to match. It was truly love at first sight. Right now he loves talking all the time, making Chewbacca noises at the top of his lungs, smiling, laughing big belly laughs, and observing the world around him. He amazes us every day.

Sammy

Sammy Cat Don't Touch Me Trouble Dunn

We adopted Sammy and Hedwig about a week after I moved here. Sammy was that cat who was blocked off from visiting the other cats. If you have met Sammy, you know why. He never does anything small, everything he does is big. He is an extremely social cat, he loves meeting new people and getting right up in your face. He likes putting his "best side" forward by putting his butt right in your face. Very sleek with his tuxedo coat, and amazingly long tail, we couldn't imagine our family without Sammy Cat. He's a handful, but we all love each other big (Hedwig says otherwise).

Hedwig

When we were looking for a sibling for Sammy Cat, the first cat we picked did not appreciate him at all! I found Hedwig and was told that she was way too timid to be paired with Sammy Cat. She really had those people fooled! We always say, "she's from the streets" and it's true. Behind that sweet face is a tough cat who curses and will turn you into stone with her Medusa face. She comes from a feral colony, which explains her clipped ear. When she's up for it, she's the sweetest, most cuddly cat in the world. Hedwig enjoys sleeping on her bean bag, getting kitty treats, and with her current weight loss, she likes jumping to higher spots in the house. She is also a master of sweet faces. These two are quite a pair!
