I feel like I'm saying this all the time these days. Atti has all of the signs of teething - he drools like no one's business, everything goes into his mouth, and today he has had on his fussy pants, where he cries bloody murder for no apparent reason. He's been quite a chicle (gum in Spanish), meaning he has been needing to be with me at all times. He'll be fussy and fussy and when I pick him up he acts like nothing happened and he's smiling and back to his normal self. I don't mind the extra cuddling time at all, but Mama's got things to do as well (make food, eat, pump, go to the bathroom, etc.)! Also, starting this morning, he has started this lip smacking thing. Is that part of teething too or is he just experimenting with the things his mouth can do?
On a side note, I have been feeling really under appreciated lately. Maybe it's just a phase? Or is this just how it's going to be now that I am a Mom? I don't know, but it's put me in a bit of a funk. What do you Moms do when you're feeling like this?
