My kids and I have been working on 2-digit subtraction. We have been subtracting one digit and two digits with and without regrouping (borrowing). We have really struggled with this. After working on it fiercely for a few weeks, the light has gone off! The concepts have clicked and they are getting it! It's funny how excited kids get about actually getting what you have been teaching. These days make all the hard work worth it.
