Day 53

Will and I went to the Witte Museum with Tyler & Dan. The big exhibit is the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit. We all agreed to meet up at our house at 2pm. Will and I had the brilliant idea of going to El Pollo Loco to grab lunch before the museum. We left with plenty of time, but when El Pollo Loco says they have fresh chicken, they mean it. We both ordered one of their new chicken sandwiches because we had coupons. We waited over ten minutes just to get our food. I didn't think they would have to go catch the chicken, kill it, clean it, and then cook it. I know they didn't actually do all of that, but it gets kind of ridiculous when you go to a fast food place thinking it will be, well, fast, and it's actually the opposite. So we were late, had to take our food with us in the car, made Dan and Tyler take us to a park so we could eat our warm-ish lunch all before going into the museum. By the time we actually made it into the museum, we had less than two hours before closing. We got to see a lot of the museum and the HEB Treehouse, but no Dinosaurs Unearthed. Next time! Also, next time we know where not to park.
