Friday was a pretty busy day. We had an 8:30am appointment to get a recall fix on my car. There was a recall on some 2001-2002 Civics where if the airbag was deployed, it would shoot out shrapnel and basically kill me. So we thought it was important to get this fixed asap! We went to Gunn Honda and after dropping off my car, we looked at other cars. Needless to say, I found a few I like, haha! We still have a while before seriously looking, but it's good to find prices and cars to put on our list. Saturday evening was Zyanya's birthday barbecue. It was so much fun! We watched Baby Mama, played Rock Band, and had lots of really good barbecue. Zyanya showed me how to clean the nopales and made a salad with nopales, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. I actually didn't mind the taste of the nopales, but the slime grossed me out. It reminded me of slug slime. Think about that the next time you have nopales!
