I got a job!!

I was offered and accepted a job Wednesday morning with Northside ISD! I will officially be a Third grade Teacher starting August 2009! The call came out of nowhere! I interviewed for a Kindergarten position, and thought the job offer was for Kindergarten, but was so excited it was for Third grade! It is exactly the grade and school I wanted! I will be working at the school where I did my three month long term sub job. I know the curriculum, the other Third grade teachers, and the Administrators have been nothing short of awesome! The Principal at this school noticed I only had two reference forms turned in (and you need three) and she made herself a reference for me and turned in a reference form! I really could not have landed in a better position. That means I am officially done with job fairs! I had even bought an outfit for the next one on June 8th, but now I will have to find another time to wear it! Now I am waiting for paperwork and New Teacher Academy is sometime in late July. School starts August 24th and I am already full of ideas for my classroom! I will post more information as it comes!
