December!

So it's been a while since our last post. There is a lot to catch up on! First, we did get to go to Clovis and Lubbock for Thanksgiving. Will took the whole week off and we left for Clovis Tuesday morning, stayed for Thanksgiving lunch, then drove to Lubbock and came back home very early Saturday morning. We had to leave the babies at the vet in a kennel while we were gone. The vet's office closes at noon on Saturday, is closed Sunday, and we really wanted to be able to get them home ASAP. This meant we had to get up at 3:15am on Saturday morning to leave before 4am to San Antonio. We actually made it to the house around 10:30am, making two stops on the way. We got to the house, turned on the air conditioner, traded cars, and then got the babies back. They were so excited to be home and have room to run around!

While at the vet, Sammy had to get a rabies shot, and Griffin needed a urinalysis test. Griffin is doing better, we have found less accidents around the house, and she is now on a special diet. This also means that the other cats are now only being fed breakfast (6am), lunch (1pm), dinner (6pm), and that's it. It's taken some time to adjust, but I think they're making it.

It's finally December! We bought some Christmas lights and decorated the garage doors and our two trees in the front yard. We also have a wreath on our front door and bought some "A Christmas Story" leg lights for the inside of the house. Unfortunately, we will not be getting a Christmas tree. We have four crazy cats and I can only imagine what kind of trouble they will get into with a tree. We are having Christmas here and are very excited about everyone coming to see us and hang out for a few days. The cats are also very excited about not going back to the kennel!

This past Friday, it was time for my annual eye checkup. The doctor said my eyes are healthy and my contacts prescription stayed the same, and I did get a little bit stronger prescription in my glasses. We went to the mall and I got some new glasses this weekend and am waiting for my contacts to come in (we order them from 1-800 contacts.com). Then, we had a dinner and movie date that evening! We went to Rome's Pizza (one of our favorite places), and then went to see Twilight! The movie wasn't what I pictured when reading the book, and I wish they used more dialogue from the book, but it was a pretty good movie, even Will liked it! I have told him that we are going to have to see it again when Tyler is here!

We will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary on the 22nd! I can't believe it's already been one year! Time has really flown by and I have loved every minute. We are celebrating by going to dinner at the restaurant in the Tower of the Americas downtown. Neither of us have been there, but are very excited about going.

2009 is almost here and I'm excited about what it has in store!

Hope you're doing well!

Almost a year, wow!

I liked the movie because I took it as separate from the books. Besides when Edward pronounced "Debussy" and when he threw his arm over Bella's shoulder at school? Yeah I freaked.

I'm seeing again next Wednesday with the best friend. :-)

You guys sure have been busy! :-) I guess I need to make it out that way to see you sometime.
