I'm finally making a post, because I've just gone through a life-changing event - getting glasses! All drama aside, it is a pretty big change for me since I've had perfect vision until very recently. I had my vision exam yesterday, and my eyes are perfectly healthy except for very slight nearsightedness. The doc told me it wasn't even really bad enough to necessitate glasses, but she wrote me a prescription anyway. I went ahead and got some since the place where my vision bothered me the most was work. It was enough to give me headaches by the end of some days.
Anyway, I don't think it's such a bad change...they actually suit me. The whole nerdiness factor they add goes along well with my personality.

Glasses really do help the headaches if you read a lot.
