Birthday

Yep, yesterday was my birthday. My first one with a baby! By this time last year, we knew we were pregnant with Atti Murph! For some reason, I have had a hard time turning 28. Maybe because it's so close to the next decade and I'm really not ready for that!

Will woke me up early and had a card and a present on my nightstand. Will had already given me the new Mars Volta (my favorite band) album and let me open and listen to it two days earlier, and I thought that was it with the presents. It was such a nice surprise! My boys gave me a James Avery charm with Atti's birthstone on it, which is citrine. Instead of wearing it on my bracelet, I have opted to wear the charm on my necklace along with the diamond my parents gave to me on my 21st birthday. Now I just need Will's birthstone to make it complete. Atti woke up while Will and I had breakfast and Will got him out of bed. Atti and I had a really good morning and went out to La Cantera after lunch. It was packed! I got some free stuff and treated myself to some things, including a Snickers cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory! Atti and I found a shaded seating area and sat on a couch to have some cheesecake. Will came home and made spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. He even remembered that I wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake!

It was a wonderful birthday! I really appreciate all of the facebook comments, texts, emails, and phone calls from everyone!
