2/19/11

Today Will and I went to Natural Bridge Caverns. We have been talking about going since we moved here, but never did. Will picked this for his birthday weekend day 2. It was a nice rainy day. At Natural Bridge Caverns, you have to go through a tour through the cave, unlike Carlsbad Caverns where you can come and go when you please. Will tried out the new camera and took all of the pictures. Our tour guide was pretty good, it was one of his first tours. Towards the middle of the tour, he took everyone's pictures and you could purchase them after the tour. About three-quarters of the way through,  our tour guide said we were running late and we needed to try to move along faster. That made it less fun, because we felt like we were being pushed out of the cave, when the whole point is to take everything in. It was a really great cave, and it's really funny that it's in the middle of South Texas. After the cave, we stopped at Arby's and had lunch, then got cleaned up for dinner with Tyler and Dan at Jasmin Thai. The restaurant is pretty small, but the food was really good and it came out really fast. Somehow, our server found out it was Will's birthday and she brought out homemade coconut ice cream with a cashew on top and four tiny spoons. It was so good!
