Snow day! I know what you're thinking, snow in San Antonio?? My thoughts exactly! We kept hearing that we wouldn't know about school delays or cancellations until around 5am. I set my alarm for 4:50am, which is usual for a Friday. I checked the Northside website on my phone and saw the red alert for all schools and offices being closed. I then went on facebook just to make sure. While on facebook, I read tons of statuses talking about the snow outside! I got up and looked out the window and saw this white stuff on the ground. I was really excited and woke up Will, then put my jacket and slippers on and went outside to take pictures as proof! Will was not as excited as I was, or was so excited that he fell back asleep. I watched the news and saw that the majority of the city had closed down due to icy roads. You also know you're in a city where it rarely snows as one of the news stations had a newswoman outside with no jacket explaining how to get the ice off your windshield. Then showed how with a kitchen spatula! I watched movies with the babies and Will worked from home. The snow was all gone by the afternoon and Will and I celebrated by going to Rome's for some pizza.
