Book Review: Columbine

I finished reading Columbine by Dave Cullen this morning. The main thing I learned from this book was that this could have been prevented.

The book is thoroughly researched and wonderfully written. The release date of the book was scheduled to coincide with the ten year anniversary. It is haunting and highly emotional. There were times when the book was too much, but I couldn't put it down. After finding the trailer on Dave Cullen's website, I watched several Columbine videos on YouTube and found out that five of the survivors are now high school teachers at Columbine. There are also videos of Patrick Ireland and Anne-Marie Hochhalter ten years later. The book dispels the rumors of bullying, targeting the jocks, Goths, and even the Cassie Bernall story. The trailer goes more into specifics.

Here is the trailer for the book by Dave Cullen.
