It's been a while

Yeah, so it's been a while since the last blog. I can't believe it's already November! Where did the time go? Not too much is new with us. Last month, on the 25th we made a trip to Katy, Texas for Jill and Andrew's wedding. Google told us it would only take us about 2.5 hours from the house to get to the church. We got dressed and left around 2:30pm to try to make it to the church before the wedding started at 6pm. Well, of course the exit to the intersection we needed to take was blocked off and it took us forever just to get out of San Antonio! We made it, found the church, and by the time we got there the doors were closed. The wedding coordinator then said that everyone needed to get inside the sanctuary so that they can begin the ceremony. It was a pretty church. After the ceremony, we hung out and caught up with some of our APO brothers. We then decided to find the reception site. The reception was held in a country club in Houston. We had a buffet dinner, open bar, desserts (we somehow managed to miss the cake), and some dancing before it was time for us to head back home. It was a beautiful wedding, and it was so great to see everyone again! Here are some pictures!
